Kedren Mental Health

Kedren makes a difference in thousands of lives each year. We strive to build healthy communities through programs and services that promote children’s school readiness and future school success, support parents to achieve their goals, and help people with mental illness to recover, rebuild their lives, and sustain wellness.

Our services reach almost 10,000 individuals annually, most of whom are living in poverty, and experience other risk factors, such as joblessness, homelessness, hunger and exposure to community violence.

Each year, we provide holiday gifts and books for children, and provide families and individuals with critically needed resources such as food, clothing, housing assistance, tuition for summer camp, and other necessary supportive services. Your partnership and generosity will enhance our ability to reach out and touch lives.

Kedren Community Health Foundation

The primary purpose of the Kedren Community Health Foundation, incorporated in 2008, is to:

	Raise funds to build a new, expanded acute psychiatric hospital for children.
	Develop early intervention and prevention programs that will positively impact children and their families, to build healthy family relationships, and avert potential psychiatric and physical health problems, before they negatively impact lives.
	To provide intervention, support and resources to low-income families in order to build stronger communities, and enhance the lives of those not covered through other funding streams.
